Author Qualifications:

Jonathan Creeth is a Medical Affairs Principal Scientist at GSK Consumer Healthcare. He trained as a Biochemist in the UK at the Universities of Southampton (BSc) and Manchester (PhD). He has extensive experience in oral care research in industry, in new product research & development and in medical affairs. He has worked at GSK in Weybridge near London since 2000, and prior to that at Unilever Research near Liverpool. He has led many developments in formulation, including clinical and laboratory testing, and also led research into the effect of brushing behaviour on product performance. He has focused particularly on the importance of product formulation to fluoride’s ability to protect against acid erosion and caries, work that has supported the Sensodyne Pronamel and Aquafresh brands. He has published over 30 manuscripts and has filed 12 patents.
