ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Jeffrey Briney, DDS
Jeffrey R. Briney, DDS, graduated from Indiana University and completed another year of hospital residency concentrating on all surgical aspects of dentistry. Shortly after leaving Indiana, he opened a practice in Beverly Hills working with the entertainment industry. In 1999, he moved to Orange County to establish a private practice Dana Point specializing in many facets of dentistry harmonized with facial aesthetics to bring the most comprehensive oral and facial healthcare to his patients. Dr. Briney also teaches his techniques for many dental companies and has become the Key Opinion Leader and educator for Biolase Lasers, Coltene Endodontics, and Clear Correct Orthodontics.

Jon Caulfield, DDS
Jon Caulfield, DDS, owns and operates Epic Dentistry in Littleton, Colorado, where he focuses on treating patients with airway, sleep, and TMJ disorders. He has been fortunate to work alongside world leaders in neuromuscular occlusion, sleep, and airway improvement. He has been a Vivos Integrated Practice since 2010, is an employee of the Institute for Craniofacial Sleep Medicine, and is an integrated clinical advisor for Vivos Therapeutics.

Justin Chi, DDS, CDT
Justin Chi, DDS, CDT joined Glidewell Laboratories in 2015 after graduating from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. Prior to that, Dr. Chi received his Bachelor of Science degree in dental laboratory technology from the LSU School of Dentistry, and earned his CDT in crown and bridge in 2007. 

Shukan Kanuga, DDS, MSD
Shukan Kanuga, DDS, MSD completed her Pediatric dentistry training with a MSD degree from the University of Washington, Seattle in 2009. She was a dentist in India before she came to the US in 2002. She received her DDS at the University of California, Los Angeles (2006); and continued her training in hospital dentistry (2007). She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She has multiple publications under her belt in esteemed journals including the Journal of American Dental Association (JADA). She lectures internationally on various topics in clinical pediatric dentistry and has also presented at the AAPD annual conference as well as other conferences, CE courses, and podcasts. She serves as the KOL for Shofu and DMG America. She established her state-of-the-art fully digital pediatric and orthodontic group practice, Kidz Dental Care, in April 2018 in Santa Clarita, CA, and also manages and owns another practice in Porter Ranch, CA.

Troy Schmedding, DDS, AAACD

Troy Schmedding, DDS, AAACD, is a 1993 honors graduate of the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA. He maintains a private practice in Walnut Creek, CA, focused on aesthetic and functional dentistry. An Accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, he lectures both nationally and internationally on aesthetics and restorative materials. He has also written and published numerous articles on restorative materials and protocols in numerous dental magazines. Dr. Schmedding also serves as a Key Opinion Leader for numerous manufacturers helping to develop and bring new products to market.

Kevin Suzuki, DMD
Kevin Suzuki, DMD graduated with his DMD from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He completed his residency in Periodontics and Oral Implantology and Masters of Science at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Suzuki is a graduate of the Misch International Implant Institute where he also served as a lecturer, laboratory, and clinical instructor. He also lectures and serves as a clinical instructor for the Institute of Dental Advancement (Dallas, TX). Dr. Suzuki holds faculty positions at Temple University Graduate Periodontics and University of Washington School of Dentistry. He is currently in private practice of Periodontics in Seattle, WA. Dr. Suzuki is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is past president of the Washington State Society of Periodontists and Washington representative of the Western Society of Periodontology. Dr. Suzuki is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon, American College of Dentists, and International College of Dentists Honor societies.

This program will provide attendees with 6 live continuing education credits, plus access to 6 on-demand courses (each worth 2 credits), at no additional charge, for a total of 18 CE credits.

Cancellation Policy
CE are administered on an hourly basis. Late arrivals/early departures will have their CE certificated attenuated accordingly. 

CDEWorld reserves the right to close registration when an enrollment limit is reached and to cancel, modify, or alter content or speakers for any course if circumstances necessitate such a change. If we find it necessary to cancel a course, a full refund will be granted. All attempts to contact registrants will be made as soon as possible in the event of a course cancellation. 

In the event of inclement weather (such as a snow emergency) or other extenuating circumstances, CDEWorld may be forced to cancel a course. If a course has been cancelled, we will contact participants by the phone number and/or email address provided. You may call or email our office on the day of the course if you are uncertain of a course’s status.

A full refund will be granted to those cancelling (by telephone or email) 48 or more hours in advance of the event. CDEWorld will not be held responsible for any losses due to travel arrangements made by the registrant.
