ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Payam Ataii, DMD
Payam Ataii, DMD, obtained his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed his dental externship at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Ataii serves the dental community and patients as a speaker, expert witness, and practicing dentist in Laguna Hills, CA. He is nationally recognized as a Key Opinion Leader with multiple peer-reviewed publications during 25 years of private practice. A patent holder of an FDA-cleared oral device, Dr. Ataii continues to innovate and invent dental health solutions that help dental practices reap the rewards of modern technology for their patients. He also serves on multiple dental and medical device company boards.

Jeffrey Briney, DDS
Jeffrey R. Briney, DDS, graduated from Indiana University and completed another year of hospital residency concentrating on all surgical aspects of dentistry. Shortly after leaving Indiana, he opened a practice in Beverly Hills working with the entertainment industry. In 1999, he moved to Orange County to establish a private practice Dana Point specializing in many facets of dentistry harmonized with facial aesthetics to bring the most comprehensive oral and facial healthcare to his patients. Dr. Briney also teaches his techniques for many dental companies and has become the Key Opinion Leader and educator for Biolase Lasers, Coltene Endodontics, and Clear Correct Orthodontics.

Justin Chi, DDS, CDT
Justin Chi, DDS, CDT joined Glidewell Laboratories in 2015 after graduating from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. Prior to that, Dr. Chi received his Bachelor of Science degree in dental laboratory technology from the LSU School of Dentistry, and earned his CDT in crown and bridge in 2007. 

Chad Duplantis, DDS, FAGD
Chad Duplantis, DDS, FAGD, received his dental degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. He then continued with post-doctorate training at Baylor College of Dentistry, earning a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. He has also received his Fellowship degree from the Academy of General Dentistry. He has been in private practice since 2000 in North Fort Worth, Texas, with an emphasis on restorative and aesthetic dentistry. Dr. Duplantis has been a member of several esthetic and restorative continuums and is currently a member of the Seattle Study Club. Dr. Duplantis has published widely on digital dentistry and workflows, restorative implantology, CBCT, impressioning, adhesion, and materials. He has helped various manufacturers on projects and evaluations and serves as a Key Opinion Leader for several dental corporations. Recently, he co-founded “Dentists IN the Know,” a social media group to help inform and educate dentists and dental team members.

Ben Miraglia, DDS

Ben Miraglia, DDS, a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, is a member of the ADA, the AGD, the NYSAGD, and the Ninth District Dental Society. He has been in private practice for 25 years and currently maintains a family practice in Mount Kisco, NY, with a focus on sleep and airway, TMD and occlusion, and full-mouth restorative dentistry, including aligner therapy and dental implants. Dr. Miraglia lectures nationally on sleep-disordered breathing, GP orthodontics, TMD, occlusion, and comprehensive dentistry. He is on the board of directors for the American Academy of Physiological Medicine and Dentistry. Dr. Miraglia is a frequent guest speaker at the Dawson Academy and was recently honored with a position on the President's Council of Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt. Kisco, NY. 

Mark Hyman, DDS
Mark E. Hyman, DDS is an accomplished seminar speaker who has lectured internationally at every major dental meeting. He maintained a private practice in Greensboro, NC, for 32 years and currently serves as an Adjunct Full Professor and Special Assistant to the Office of the Dean at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill, NC.

This program will provide attendees with 6 live continuing education credits, plus access to 6 on-demand courses (each worth 2 credits), at no additional charge, for a total of 18 CE credits.

Cancellation Policy
CE are administered on an hourly basis. Late arrivals/early departures will have their CE certificated attenuated accordingly. 

CDEWorld reserves the right to close registration when an enrollment limit is reached and to cancel, modify, or alter content or speakers for any course if circumstances necessitate such a change. If we find it necessary to cancel a course, a full refund will be granted. All attempts to contact registrants will be made as soon as possible in the event of a course cancellation. 

In the event of inclement weather (such as a snow emergency) or other extenuating circumstances, CDEWorld may be forced to cancel a course. If a course has been cancelled, we will contact participants by the phone number and/or email address provided. You may call or email our office on the day of the course if you are uncertain of a course’s status.

A full refund will be granted to those cancelling (by telephone or email) 48 or more hours in advance of the event. CDEWorld will not be held responsible for any losses due to travel arrangements made by the registrant.
