Speaker Information
Payam Ataii, DMD
A graduate of Tufts School of Dental Medicine, with an externship at Harvard, Dr. Ataii is a nationally recognized speaker and key opinion leader. He maintains a private practice in Laguna Hills, California, is a member of the Align faculty, founder of the National Association of Dental Professionals, has authored numerous publications in the refereed literature, and holds three patents in dental technology. 

Jesse Duncan, DDS
Dr. Duncan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of San Diego in 2003. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2008, and completed his certificate in advanced prosthodontics from the University of Southern California, Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry (“USC”) in 2012. In addition to being a key member of the team at ClearChoice Dental Implant Center in Orange County, Dr. Duncan has been a prosthodontist in private practice since 2014. He has also been an adjunct Clinical Instructor of Advanced Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry at USC since 2011. He has been on the Straumann Mini Residency faculty since 2015. Dr. Duncan also had his research published in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry on the topic of Cemented Implant Restorations. He has been a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics, the Orange County Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association.  

Jack Griffin, Jr., DDS
Dr. Jack D. Griffin is one of the most honored and awarded dentists in the country. Dr. Griffin is one of a hand-full of dentists awarded by his peers Diplomat status with the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry (ABAD), accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), and Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
He considers it a great honor to have been asked to teach many dentists across the country how to meet their professional goals in various topics including practice management, digital photography, direct bonding techniques, cosmetic veneers, and CAD/CAM dentistry. He has lectured at many prestigious meetings and has been published in leading dental journals. Dr. Griffin graduated dental school from Southern Illinois University, where he received a student dentistry awards and then went on to complete a general dentistry residency at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, with an emphasis in advanced dental care in restorative dentistry, emergency care, implants, oral surgery, and special patient care. Dr. Griffin began his dental practice in Eureka in 1988. Dr. Griffin is affiliated with many professional organizations including the following: American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Society for Dental Esthetics, American Orthodontic Society, International Association for Orthodontics, American Association for Functional Orthodontics, American Association of Implant Dentistry, Academy of Computerized Dentistry, and other professional organizations. He has taken over 2,000 hours of continuing education since graduating dental school and his commitment to keep learning keeps him at the top of his profession.

Cleber Silva, DDS
Dr. Silva is a graduate of Columbia University School of Dental & Oral Surgery, Cornell University’s GPR program and University of Washington Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology residency program. He practiced General Dentistry for 15 years and has for the last 10 years taught full-time at Columbia University and part-time at the University of Washington.He is a sub-specialist in guided surgery and has designed and manufactured over 1,000 surgical guides. He is currently NIH-funded for research on bone density changes in HIV+ post-menopausal women and is self-funding a research project on the use of titanium meshwire for graft reconstruction of severe mandibular bone defects and concurrent implant placement. Dr. Silva had 2 papers published in 2019; 2 papers accepted for publication in 2020; 3 papers under review and 4 papers in writing. He has lectured nationally and internationally, the last lecture given at the 2019 Greater New York Dental Meeting.

Jamie Toop, DDS
Dr. Jamie Toop graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and is the owner of Rocksprings Dental Group, a practice supported by Pacific Dental Services® in Las Vegas, Nevada. She currently serves as faculty member of the PDS University™ – Institute of Dentistry and as a member of the Pacific Dental Services' National Advisory Board. In her years of practice experience, Dr. Toop has been recognized as a subject matter expert in oral-systemic health. She has had numerous speaking engagements, published articles, and more.

Juan Yepes, DDS, MD
Juan F. Yepes DDS, MD, MPH, MS, DrPH is an associate professor in the department of pediatric dentistry at Indiana University School of Dentistry and an attending at Riley Children Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Juan F. is a dentist (DDS) and a physician (MD) from Javeriana University at Bogotá, Colombia. In 1999, Juan F. moved to the USA and attended the University of Iowa and the University of Pennsylvania where he completed a fellowship and residency in Radiology and Oral Medicine respectively in 2002 and 2004.  In 2006, Juan F. completed a Master in Public Health (MPH), and in 2011 a Doctoral Degree in Public Health (DrPH) both with emphasis in Epidemiology at the University of Kentucky College of Public Health. In 2008, Juan F. completed a residency program in Dental Public Health at University of Texas, Baylor College of Dentistry. Finally, Juan F. completed a residency program and a masters in pediatric dentistry at the University of Kentucky in 2012. Juan F. is board-certified by the American Boards of Pediatric Dentistry, Oral Medicine, and Dental Public Health. He is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Oral Medicine, American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, American Association of Public Health Dentistry, Indiana Dental Association, and American Dental Association.  Juan F. is a fellow in dental surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons at Edinburgh.  He is a member of the editorial board of the journals Pediatric Dentistry and Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, and Oral Radiology.

Cancellation Policy
CE are administered on an hourly basis. Late arrivals/early departures will have their CE certificated attenuated accordingly. 

CDEWorld reserves the right to close registration when an enrollment limit is reached and to cancel, modify, or alter content or speakers for any course if circumstances necessitate such a change. If we find it necessary to cancel a course, a full refund will be granted. All attempts to contact registrants will be made as soon as possible in the event of a course cancellation. 

In the event of inclement weather (such as a snow emergency) or other extenuating circumstances, CDEWorld may be forced to cancel a course. If a course has been cancelled, we will contact participants by the phone number and/or email address provided. You may call or email our office on the day of the course if you are uncertain of a course’s status.

A full refund will be granted to those cancelling (by telephone or email) 48 or more hours in advance of the event. CDEWorld will not be held responsible for any losses due to travel arrangements made by the registrant.
