Thomas Bilski, DDS
Dr. Bilski is the clinical co-director at the Midwest Implant Institute, Columbus, Ohio,where he instructs doctors in cosmetic and dental implant concepts related to esthetics and restoring anterior teeth in a “hands on” format. He received his dental implantology fellowship from the Midwest Implant Institute in 2010 and completed his externship program in 1992. Tom has been helping dentists implement surgical dental implant procedures into to their general dental practices, helping dentists recognize the opportunities that implant dentistry brings to their general dental practices and relate the increased practice growth with their return on investment as new technology and training are integrated within their practices.
Tom has written many books on the topics of removable restorations in implant dentistry, digital work flow in restorative dentistry, smile design, custom designs for esthetic implant procedures, safe Botox procedures for dentistry, cone beam technology (in sleep apnea, TMJ/Migraine therapy, endodontics and implant dentistry treatment planning).
Dr. Bilski contributed articles that have appeared in peer-reviewed professional journals such as the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry, Winter 2008 Volume 23, CDE World (Aegis Communications; Peer-reviewed) July 2017 and September 2017, Dental Products Report (January 2013 and January 2014) and currently provides additional articles and webinars for Aegis Communications (CDE World) on topics including C02 lasers for soft tissue management in restorative dentistrty,placement and restoration of zirconia implants, opiate prescription guid elines for dental surgery and alternatives, cone beam technology (CBCT) applications within general dentistry and innovations within operative dentistry (specifically in direct bonding techniques).
After graduation from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry (1988) he began his practice in Independence, Ohio with a special emphasis on esthetic and restorative dentistry. Since then Dr. Bilski provides general dental care, Smile Makeovers for Victims of Domestic Violence and educational seminars within his community to keep his community and patients aware of available technology and alternatives to help optimize their dental health.
Jack D. Griffin, Jr., DMD
Dr. Jack D. Griffin is one of the most honored and awarded dentists in the country. Dr. Griffin is one of a hand-full of dentists awarded by his peers Diplomat status with the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry (ABAD), accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), and Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
He considers it a great honor to have been asked to teach many dentists across the country how to meet their professional goals in various topics including practice management, digital photography, direct bonding techniques, cosmetic veneers, and CAD/CAM dentistry. He has lectured at many prestigious meetings and has been published in leading dental journals.
Dr. Griffin graduated dental school from Southern Illinois University, where he received a student dentistry awards and then went on to complete a general dentistry residency at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, with an emphasis in advanced dental care in restorative dentistry, emergency care, implants, oral surgery, and special patient care. Dr. Griffin began his dental practice in Eureka in 1988.
Dr. Griffin is affiliated with many professional organizations including the following: American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Society for Dental Esthetics, American Orthodontic Society, International Association for Orthodontics, American Association for Functional Orthodontics, American Association of Implant Dentistry, Academy of Computerized Dentistry, and other professional organizations. He has taken over 2,000 hours of continuing education since graduating dental school and his commitment to keep learning keeps him at the top of his profession.
Ron Kaminer, DDS, FAGD
Dr. Ron Kaminer is a 1990 graduate of the State of New York Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He has always been passionate about technology and was one of the first 100 dentists in the country to include a hard tissue dental laser into his practice. Over the years he has taught dental lasers technology and minimally invasive dentistry to thousands of dentists worldwide. He sits on the Board of Catapult Education, is a frequent contributor to Mentor magazine, sits on the editorial board of Dental Product Shopper and acts as a clinical consultant to numerous dental manufacturers. While doing all of the above, he practices full time in both his offices in Hewlett and Oceanside N.Y. focusing on minimally invasive and digital dentistry. He is a Fellow of The Academy of General Dentistry, member of the American Dental Association, and member of The Academy of Laser Dentistry.
Jamie Toop, DDS
Dr. Jamie Toop graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and is the owner of Rocksprings Dental Group, a practice supported by Pacific Dental Services® in Las Vegas, Nevada. She currently serves as faculty member of the PDS University™ – Institute of Dentistry and as a member of the Pacific Dental Services' National Advisory Board. In her years of practice experience, Dr. Toop has been recognized as a subject matter expert in oral-systemic health. She has had numerous speaking engagements, published articles, and more.
Ali Kanawati, DDS, MS
Since completing his dental education at West Virginia University School of Dentistry, Dr. Kanawati has practiced his specialty, prosthodontics. After completing his specialty training, he has also continued his involvement in dental implant education and research at WVU School of Dentistry and at Case Western University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kanawati’s success comes from his calming chair side manner. His approach to patient care is focused on listening and attending to your concerns and treating you as a person, not just a patient.
Gary Radz, DDS
Dr. Gary Radz practices in downtown Denver, CO. He maintains a faculty position at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. He is on the editorial board of 7 different dental journals and has published over 150 articles related to cosmetic and restorative dentistry. For the past 25 years he has lectured internationally. He is a founding member of Catapult Education and on the Board of Directors with SmileSource.
