enhancing both patient survival and quality of life.

Course Information
A note from the course director . . .
Once again, the Dental College of Georgia presents speakers on a variety of topics
affecting the provision of dental care by dental professionals in a beautiful autumnal
setting in the North Georgia Mountains.
This year’s course will offer a great update on both medicine and dentistry. On the
medical side, Dr. Scott De Rossi will provide a pharmacology update on the top 50
prescribed medications and I will discuss the oral ramifications of cancer therapy. Dr.
Brent Haeberle and Dr. Alan Furness will provide the restorative update, lecturing on
removable prosthodontics and various direct and indirect restorative options.
I am excited to offer another “non-dental” event this year: a hayride! We will take in the
gorgeous scenery of the mountains during the most picturesque time of year right on
the Brasstown Valley Resort property. What a great way to start a Saturday evening!
Whether this is your first year attending the course, or you have been coming for years,
there is no doubt that you will enjoy both the presentations offered by our speakers and
also the gorgeous setting at Brasstown Valley Resort.
