CBCT: My Journey to Digital Enlightenment – Kaveh Ghaboussi, DMD
Dr. Kaveh Ghaboussi will explain why he owns a cone beam system and why this technology is vital for the digital dental practice. He will show the audience diagnostic areas where cone beam is indicated, as well as clinical cases where cone beam was used. Dr. Ghaboussi will convey practice management suggestions to help guide the general practitioner to make the most of their investment. 

It’s A Bug’s Life: A Look at Microbial Challenges in Oral and Systemic Health – Betsy Reynolds, RDH, MS
 Ms. Betsy Reynolds will discuss the treatment and understanding of microbial biofilm. She will discuss the overuse of antimicrobial agents and the direct correlation to the rise of periodontal disease.

Indirect Restorative Materials and Techniques -- Lincoln Parker, DMD
Join Dr. Parker as he discusses the new ceramic systems available and when to use what, how to optimize predictability, effective lab communication, reducing remakes, and a thorough understanding of the cementation systems that will optimize results.

Digital Denture Design: Streamlining Productivity -- David Avery, CDT, AAS
Mr. Avery presents a digital process as an effective option for denture fabrication. He will review the rationale for digital denture fabrication, discuss the clinical advantages of the process, and describe the workflow and time saving associated with the process in his one hour presentation.

Let’s Grow Tooth: Providing an environment where tissues can regenerate -- Jack D. Griffin, Jr., DMD
Dr. Griffin examines the new world of Bioactive materials and how this may set the stage for new opportunities for restorative dentistry. Simply, these materials may offer advances that go beyond the merits of glass ionomers.

Implant Preparation for the General Practitioner – Thomas Bilski, DDS 
Dr. Thomas Bilski will discuss bone grafting, implant pre-op preparation, surgical preparation, and post-surgical management of implant cases. He will cover the basics of implant dentistry and discuss biological comparisons of natural teeth vs. implants.

David Avery, AS, CDT, TE
Mr. Avery is owner of David Avery Consulting Services, LLC. He is an ACP Alliance Technician. He is well known in the educational arena as he sits on the advisory board of the Pankey Institute, he is the Dental Technology Editor of JERD, and he is the Continuing Education Director, Inside Dental Technology, an AEGIS Communications property.

Thomas Bilski, DDS
Dr. Bilski is the co-director of the Midwest Implant Institute in Columbus, Ohio, where he is responsible for training other dentists in surgical and restorative procedures for implant dentistry. Not only does he teach doctors, he also learns from his students’ successes and their obstacles. This keeps him on his toes and up to date with dental procedures and technologies that ultimately improve his patients’ lives.

Kaveh Ghaboussi, DDS
Dr. Ghaboussi has sought out specialized training in a wide range of dental issues and technology. He has attended the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dentistry to study techniques like veneers, porcelain crowns and full mouth restorations. In addition to cosmetic dentistry and pain management he has also focused on training in oral conscious sedation and completed his certification with the World Clinical Laser Institute. Dr. Ghaboussi regularly attends and teaches seminars for dentists.

Jack Griffin, DMD
Dr. Jack D Griffin is one of the most honored and awarded dentists in the country. Jack is one of a hand-full of dentists awarded by his peers Diplomat status with the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry (ABAD), accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), and Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). He considers it a great honor to have been asked to teach many dentists across the country how to meet their professional goals in various topics including practice management, digital photography, direct bonding techniques, cosmetic veneers, and CAD/CAM dentistry. He has lectured at many prestigious meetings and has been published in leading dental journals.

David A. Little, DDS
Dr Little maintains a private practice in San Antonio, TX with an emphasis on comprehensive restorative care. He serves as an adjunct clinical professor at the UTHSCSA dental school and serves on several editorial boards. He is a fellow in the International and American Colleges of Dentistry and the AADFE and is also a member of the ADA, AGD, the AACD and the AADSM. Dr Little has conducted lectures and hands-on workshops on esthetic materials and dental implants throughout the US and internationally. Dr Little's articles have been published in many of today's popular dental publications. All of his programs unite clinical advancement and technology, including practice management for simple implantation into private practice.

Lincoln Parker, DMD
Dr. Lincoln Parker attended Brigham Young University and went on to dental school at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is a passionate learner and feels he can only provide the best possible dentistry for his patients. As a dentist, he has sought further dental health education from many of the top educators in the country.

Betsy Reynolds, RDH, MS

Armed with degrees in the dental hygiene and oral biology, Betsy presents scientifically-based dental and dental hygiene continuing education programs nationally and internationally. Avidly committed to making the dental sciences understandable and relevant, Betsy devotes time and energy to publishing articles and book chapters designed to enlighten and inspire clinicians. Her continuing education presentations include a variety of topics involving the biologic basis for oral and systemic disease prevention, microbiological and immunological aspects of oral disease, implications of stress on oral and systemic health, oralpathological concerns, oral piercing and body modification considerations in care delivery, head and neck anatomy and scientific developments  affecting oral health care delivery.

If we find it necessary to cancel a course, a full refund will be granted. All attempts to contact registrants will be made as soon as possible in the event of a course cancellation. 

In the event of inclement weather (such as a snow emergency) or other extenuating circumstances, CDEWorld may be forced to cancel a course. If a course has been cancelled, we will contact participants by the phone number and/or email address provided.
