Aesthetic Guided Bone Regeneration

This course is
designed to train participants in the concepts and procedures of guided bone
regeneration utilizing bone graft materials. Emphasis is on the aesthetic zone.
Clinicians will have step-by-step coaching and instruction in the different
aspects of AGBR, from diagnosis to closure and follow up. This live
surgical and intensive hands on course explores advanced concepts in clinical
diagnosis, CT diagnosis, implant positioning, surgical technique, flap design,
membrane design, material selections, and flap closure. Participants with previous experience in bone grafting will be
able to apply this technique with increased confidence and enhanced results. This
intense and highly personalized instruction is designed to allow a high level
of interaction with faculty. At completion of the course,
participants will approach, diagnose and treat ridge deformity and bone
deficiencies with understanding and confidence. Instruction includes a live
demonstration of AGBR in the anterior maxilla, and hands-on simulation of that
surgical technique in our fully-equipped laboratory.

Course Information
This intense and highly personalized instruction is designed to allow a

deficiencies with understanding and confidence. Instruction includes a
live demonstration of AGBR in the anterior maxilla, and hands-on

Nicolas Elian, DDS
Dr. Elian has been a practicing Prosthodontist/Implant surgeon for over
22 years and is now Founder & CEO of Vizstara Dental at Vizstara.com
. Renowned for his expertise in the evaluation and retreatment of
implants, Dr. Elian’s clinical practice focuses on surgical procedures
such as advanced bone grafting and ridge augmentations. He completed his
DDS degree and postgraduate studies in prosthodontic and implant
dentistry at NYUCD. Dr. Elian was head of the Division of Implant
Dentistry and program director, as well as Director of experimental
research at New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD) Department
of Periodontology & Implant Dentistry for over 10 years.
Dr. Elian consults on product development for industry manufacturers and
is an inventor and expert in both cell culture and tissue engineering.
An international instructor, Dr. Elian is a visiting professor at the
University of Chietti, Italy, and Tong Ji University, China, as well as
an honorary professor at El Instututo de Investigaciones Craneo Dento
Maxilo Facial de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud, Argentina. He was
also an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Periodontics at
the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.

Cancellation Policy
The tuition fee, less $75 administrative charge, is
refundable if notice of cancellation is received by April 20, 2015.
Cancellations received after April 20, 2015 will be
reimbursed at half the tuition fee.
