Abstract
Various surgical and regenerative modalities are available to treat periodontal disease. Options include guided tissue regeneration, osseous surgery, and laser therapy—but before such interventions take place, key criteria to help guide treatment planning and improve patient outcomes and long-term oral health must be considered.
