ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Mike Czubiak, DDS
Dr. Mike Czubiak is the owner of Camarillo Smiles in Camarillo, California, and a clinical advocate with Vivos Therapeutics. Dr. Czubiak grew up in the San Fernando Valley. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology from UCLA. He then continued his education at the UCLA School of Dentistry graduating in 1988. As a life-long student and self-proclaimed dental geek, he has amassed 1000’s of hours of advanced training in all areas of dentistry. Besides creating beautiful smiles he is an author, podcaster and lecturer. Dr. Czubiak lectures on mouth/body connection, sleep/breathing and leadership. He lectures all around the country to other dentists teaching them how to be better at what they do. This allows him to combine two of his loves- helping others and traveling.

He just completed his first book Hygiene Superstar. Written specifically for dental hygienists, it empowers them to raise the bar from just saving teeth to saving lives. Dr. Mike gives back in many ways but is particularly proud of serving on the Board of Directors of the Camarillo Boys & Girls Club. He is particularly fond of supporting the good work of Camarillo’s local charities.

Jae Seon Kim, DDS
Dr. Jae Seon Kim is a board-certified prosthodontist practicing in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Kim believes in lifelong learning and regards lecturing as a tool to communicate with other dentists and lab technicians. Through these efforts, he hopes that all participants can take another step towards mastering their craft. Dr. Kim received his MSD degree and a certificate in Prosthodontics from the University of Washington and is an affiliate assistant professor in the Restorative Department at the University of Washington.


Yoram Kohanzadeh, DDS
Dr. Yoram Kohanzadeh is a Modern Orthodontist with his focus on cutting edge and hidden treatment options. He got his start as the Cleft Lip and Palate resident at UMDNJ's Orthodontic program, now Rutgers University Hospital. He selected a 3 year postgraduate residency to be able to learn the full spectrum of treatment options out there, and have time to work on Cleft Lip and Palate cases. As the Cleft resident, he had to and still does work on the patients with multiple specialty doctors on the care of special needs patients, such as those with cleft lip and palates. He taught at Montefiore in New York, prior to moving back to Southern California, where he grew up and obtained both his DDS and BS from the University of California, Los Angeles. He worked in Beverly Hills for a decade before starting his two practices in Thousand Oaks and Chatsworth.


Brian Nový, DDS
Dr. Nový holds faculty appointments at Western University, and Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He served on the American Dental Association Council of Scientific Affairs from 2010 - 2014, and in 2016 was appointed the consumer representative , United States Food & Drug Administration Dental Products Panel. His papers pertaining to cariology and dental materials are published in various journals including the Journal of the American Dental Association, the Journal of Dental Research, the Journal of Evidence Based Dentist ry, Dentistry Today, Dental Economics, and the National Academy of Medicine. His awards include the ADA Evidence Based Practice Award, the American Dental Association Adult Preventive Care Practice of the Year, the Dugoni Award, and the Academy of Genera l Dentistry Weclew Award.


Franklin Shull, DMD
Dr. Shull is a native of Lexington, South Carolina and is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and the Medical University of South Carolina School of Dentistry. Following dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency at Palmetto Health Richland. Dr. Shull is both a past president of the Greater Columbia Dental Association and the SC Academy of General Dentistry. He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and is a faculty member at Palmetto Health Richland Department of Dentistry and the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. Dr. Shull is also on the teaching faculty at the L.D. Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida where he teaches dentists from all around the world about esthetic dentistry. He has been published in many dental journals and recently contributed to a textbook on comprehensive dentistry.


Michelle Strange, MSDH, RDH
Michelle Strange, MSDH, RDH, brings over twenty years of experience in the dental field, beginning as a dental assistant and earning a bachelor's degree in health science from the Medical University of South Carolina, followed by a master's in dental hygiene education from the University of Bridgeport. Her commitment to ongoing education is evident through her pursuit of various certifications, including the Certificate in Dental Infection Prevention and Control.

Michelle's passion for dentistry extends beyond her practice, as demonstrated by her community and global endeavors, which include volunteer work and worldwide missions. As the owner of Level Up Infection Prevention and MichelleStrangeRDH, she continues to practice dental hygiene while sharing her expertise through various platforms. Michelle is also a cofounder of the A Tale of Two Hygienists podcast, further demonstrating her commitment to advancing the dental profession through education and collaboration.

Cancellation Policy
CE are administered on an hourly basis. Late arrivals/early departures will have their CE certificated attenuated accordingly. 

CDEWorld reserves the right to close registration when an enrollment limit is reached and to cancel, modify, or alter content or speakers for any course if circumstances necessitate such a change. If we find it necessary to cancel a course, a full refund will be granted. All attempts to contact registrants will be made as soon as possible in the event of a course cancellation. 

In the event of inclement weather (such as a snow emergency) or other extenuating circumstances, CDEWorld may be forced to cancel a course. If a course has been cancelled, we will contact participants by the phone number and/or email address provided. You may call or email our office on the day of the course if you are uncertain of a course’s status.

A full refund will be granted to those cancelling (by telephone or email) 48 or more hours in advance of the event. CDEWorld will not be held responsible for any losses due to travel arrangements made by the registrant.
