Author Qualifications:

Dr. Jenny Jackson graduated as valedictorian in Microbiology from NC State and earned her dental degree from Harvard, where she received the Silver Medal for excellence and the Dean’s Community Service Award. She completed a pediatric dentistry residency and a master’s in public health at UNC Chapel Hill before opening her Asheville practice in 2007. A past president of the NC Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Jackson has received the Outstanding Faculty Award for teaching at MAHEC and actively volunteers to mentor dental assisting and hygiene students.
