Abstract
Dental unit waterlines, contaminated surfaces, and other often-overlooked reservoirs play a critical role in the chain of infection within dental settings and our job is breaking the chain of infection. These hidden sources can harbor biofilms, pathogens, and contaminants that pose significant risks to both patients and dental teams.

She is also the owner of Smile-Logic, a patient-centered dental hygiene practice in Colorado, where she combines clinical expertise with innovation to advance the profession.
