Author Qualifications:

Dr. Seong is a General Dental Council (GDC) recognized Specialist in Periodontics. He currently works as a clinical Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant in Periodontics at Cardiff University and a Periodontist in a specialist practice in Cardiff, UK. His research interests include developing research methodologies, periodontal conditions, bone augmentation and peri-implant lesions, the scientific evaluation of oral healthcare products, tooth wear, dentine hypersensitivity and teeth whitening. He has conducted over 50 clinical research studies with many publications in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Seong is heavily involved with both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training of Periodontology at Cardiff University and University of Bristol and lectures in both national and international fora.
