What Grade Would You Give Your Dental Unit Waterline Protocols?

Michelle Strange, MSDH, RDH

November 2022 Course
Expires: Sunday, November 30th, 2025

Web Only

Abstract

In 1993, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) established the first guidelines for cleaning dental unit waterlines in the dental industry. Even with almost 30 years of guidance, many dental practices do not have proper standard operating procedures for dental waterline treatment and maintenance. In this course, we will tackle the why and how for DUWL guidance while reviewing how to create standard operating procedures for your team to follow.
