Abstract
Intraoral impression scanning and CBCT scanning have made transformational impacts on dentistry, and the addition of 3D extraoral facial scanning to the workflow can take treatment planning to the next level. Digitizing the patient via all three methods and aligning/merging the data on a computer screen allows for optimized evaluation, design, and treatment planning.
