Howard E. Strassler DDS

Howard E. Strassler, DMD, is a professor and Director of Operative Dentistry at the University of Maryland Dental School in the Department of Endodontics, Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry. He has presented continuing education programs both nationally and internationally on techniques and selection of dental materials in clinical use and esthetic restorative dentistry. In addition, he is on the editorial review board of a number of dental publications and a reviewer for many journals. Dr. Strassler is a consultant and clinical evaluator to over 15 dental manufacturers, and he has been involved in funded research with restorative materials. Dr. Strassler has published numerous articles in the field of restorative dentistry and innovations in dental practice. In 2000, Dr. Strassler received the Academy of General Dentistry’s highest honor, the Thaddeus W. Weclew Honorary Fellowship for contributions to the profession.
