This webinar is focused providing the latest information on the prevalence of dentin hypersensitivity, the impact of dentin hypersensitivity on patient’s oral health related quality of life, and the role the dental teams can play in diagnosing dentin hypersensitivity and supporting patients with dentin hypersensitivity.

Author Qualifications:

Dr. Gibson is a Professor of Medical Sociology at the University of Sheffield's School of Clinical Dentistry.

Professor Koula Asimakopoulou is a UK, British Psychological Society (BPS)- Chartered, Registered Psychologist and member of the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) specialising in Health Psychology.

Dr. West is Professor and Honorary Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Bristol Dental School, and the Director of the Clinical Trials Unit conducting research in the international forum, attracting substantial funding from industry, charities and NIHR funding streams.

​Professor Baker holds a Chair in Psychology as applied to Dentistry at the University of Sheffield and is a Chartered Psychologist registered with the British Psychological Society.

Dr. Austin’s research focus is on Erosive Tooth Wear. He is a Senior Lecturer at King's College London Faculty of and Honorary Consultant in Prosthodontics at Guy's and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust where he is also service Lead for Digital Dentistry.
