Abstract

The Managing Opioid Related Complications and Adverse Events course is designed to provide dentists with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize and manage opioid related complications and adverse events in the dental practice. This session will cover key topics such as common complications and adve4rse events associated with opioid use, strategies for prevention and management, overdose recognition and naloxone administration and emergency management of opioid related adverse events. By the end of this course, participants will be equipped to effectively respond to opioid related complications and adverse events, ensuring patient safety and minimizing potential harm.
