Jiro Abe, DDS, PhD
Jiro Abe, DDS, PhD, graduated from Tokyo Dental College in 1981 and developed the suction mechanism of mandibular complete dentures in 1999. With his publication of Successful Mandibular Complete Denture Suction for Everyone, he has been disseminating the mechanism throughout the world since 2004.
Dr. Abe was the director of the Academy of Clinical Dentistry from 1999 to 2005 and its councillor from 2005 to 2009. He founded the Japan Denture Association and has been its chairman since 2006. Additionally, he is an instructor of the Ivoclar Vivadent BPS International Clinical and the GC and Morita Complete Denture seminars, as well as a lecturer for the Japan Dental Association.
Dr. Abe has been a professor at the Tohoku University Graduate school of Dentistry since 2010 and at Kanagawa Dental College since 2012. He has also held many other distinguished positions throughout the years and published 4 Steps from Start to Finish Mandibular Suction Denture and BPS: a Perfect Manual-for All Types of Fully Edentulous Cases, which has been translated into English, Chinese and Korean in 2012. Dr. Abe has been a international committee member of America Prosthodontics Society since 2015.
Robert Kreyer, CDT
Mr. Robert Kreyer is the Director of Manufacturing at AvaDent, a member of the Executive Council for the American Prosthodontic Society, Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and Past Chair of The American College of Prosthodontists Dental Technician Alliance. In 2010, he was the first recipient of The American College of Prosthodontists Dental Technician Leadership Award and was selected by the National Board of Certification in Dental Technology as their 2011 CDT of the Year. At the 86th Annual Meeting of the American Prosthodontist Society, Mr. Kreyer was the 2014 recipient of The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry's Editorial Council's Rudd Award.
Eric D. Kukucka, DD
Eric D. Kukucka, DD, is President of The Denture Center, a quickly growing network of denture clinics in Ontario. Eric currently owns 5 clinics. Mr. Kukucka graduated from George Brown College of Applied Arts & Technology with Dean’s List Honors in 2010. He was named Valedictorian of the Centre for Health Sciences. Today, Mr. Kukucka is a successful practicing denturist and emergent entrepreneur who is already established as a consultant and key opinion leader for Ivoclar Vivadent as well as a key opinion leader for Nobel Biocare. He is a prominent sales strategist and advocate for marketing best practices and creating high-quality removable, fixed, and fixed-detachable implant prosthetic restorations. Mr. Kukucka has been published multiple times and lectures extensively in North America as he strives to build great relationships within the dental community.
