Alexander Bendayan, DDS, CAGS, FICD
Alexander Bendayan, DDS, CAGS, FICD, is originally from Caracas, Venezuela, and received a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Prosthodontics from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2005. He is currently the Clinical Director for the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics and Assistant Dean for Digital Dentistry Development and Clinical Education at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He specializes in Prosthodontics at Boston University Dental Health Center with a focus on esthetic, digital, and implant dentistry.
Andrew C. Johnson, DDS, MDS, CDT, FACP
Andrew C. Johnson, DDS, MDS, CDT, FACP, is a board-certified prosthodontist at Integrative Dental Specialists in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery, Certificate in Advanced Prosthodontics, and Master of Dental Science degrees from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Dentistry. In addition to being certified by the American Board of Prosthodontics, he is a fellow of the American College of Prosthodontics and a member of the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics, American Dental Association, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, and Richard Doggett Dean and Marguerite Taylor Dean Honorary Odontological Society. He has been published in the Journal of Prosthodontics, Journal of Prosthodontic Research, and more.
Eric D. Kukucka, DD
Eric D. Kukucka, DD, is President of The Denture Center, a quickly growing network of denture clinics in Ontario. Eric currently owns 5 clinics. Mr. Kukucka graduated from George Brown College of Applied Arts & Technology with Dean’s List Honors in 2010. He was named Valedictorian of the Centre for Health Sciences. Today, Mr. Kukucka is a successful practicing denturist and emergent entrepreneur who is already established as a consultant and key opinion leader for Ivoclar Vivadent as well as a key opinion leader for Nobel Biocare. He is a prominent sales strategist and advocate for marketing best practices and creating high-quality removable, fixed, and fixed-detachable implant prosthetic restorations. Mr. Kukucka has been published multiple times and lectures extensively in North America as he strives to build great relationships within the dental community.
Benjamin D. Oppenheimer, DDS
Benjamin D. Oppenheimer, DDS, is a graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. There, he received a Dean’s letter for Academic Excellence as well as the International Congress of Oral Achievement Award for his research on mini dental implants. He is now one of the leading experts in the world on mini dental implants. He is also the author of a number of scientific journal articles on the subject. As well as offering dental implants, Oppenheimer provides all aspects of patient care for adults and children at his private practice in Amherst, New York. He also is the president of Foundation Milling Centre, LLC, a dental contract manufacturing firm, and heads research and development for high-tech dental products including their yittria-zirconia line of products and sintered diamond abrasives.
Tommy Rogers, CDT
Tommy Rogers, CDT, has been part of the dental industry since 2000. Over the past 19 years, he has spent half of his tenure as an implant specialist, providing his services to further the implant community in the laboratory as well as offering chairside support in the world of implantology. Over the past 10 years, he has focused his efforts on guided surgical applications, involving the majority of the industry-leading implant manufacturers. Rogers offers vast knowledge in the world of immediate-load conversions as well as guided surgery with most, if not all, implants on the market. He currently maintains the position of General Manager of the Implant and Removable department at Iverson Dental Laboratories.
Lucio Lo Russo, DDS, PhD
Lucio Lo Russo, DDS, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Oral Diseases at the School of Dentistry, University of Foggia, Italy. Prof. Lo Russo graduated from dental school in 1998 at the University “Federico II” of Naples (Italy), where he subsequently obtained his PhD. He is involved in basic and applied clinical research related to the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of oral diseases, in particular in the field of Oral Medicine, Periodontology, Operative and Digital Dentistry. He has published more than 140 scientific papers, most in high-impact international scientific dental and medical journals.
Vincent Verderosa, MDT, CDT
Vincent Verderosa, MDT, CDT, is a well-established Master Dental Technician in Deer Park, New York. Specializing in removable prosthetics, he owned and operated Greenrose Dental Lab for over 15 years prior to his current senior position at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine in the Removable Prosthetics Department. He is a recognized speaker in the removable field with a strong commitment to continuing education and has completed the following continuing education: American Society of Master Dental Technologist, New York University; The Dale Carnegie Training Course; Dr. Peter Dawson “Factors About Occlusion and TMJ;” Valplast Flexible Partial Training Certification Course; and the American College of Prosthodontics’ “The how to course for providing contemporary prosthodontics and implant care for the complete denture patient.” He has also achieved several honors: Award of Highest Achievement, Dale Carnegie Training program; Outstanding Student Award endowed by Northeastern Gnathological Society; American Society of Master Dental Technologist New York University; Certificate of Appreciation from the Indian Health Service, Pine Ridge Service Unit South Dakota.

Frankie Acosta
Frankie Acosta has been a dental technician since 1986. He has owned and operated three full-service laboratories. At AA Dental Design, he has built a powerhouse focused on processing digital and conventionally impressed restorations by utilizing the CEREC inLab to its fullest. Every restoration is processed with the CEREC inLab system, which created his motto of “All CEREC All the Time.” He is a software beta tester and a certified advanced trainer for Dentsply Sirona and Patterson Dental. He has founded and moderates CERECOnDemand.com, a CEREC educational site for all professionals in the dental field. He has also established the CEREC OnDEMAND Education Center in Murrieta, California.
Dan Ammon, PhD
Dan Ammon is Vice President of Research and Development at Dentsply Sirona. Dan has been with Dentsply Sirona for nearly 11 years where he has led teams in Endodontics, Restorative, Preventive and Lab products. He also has 18 years of experience in Medical Devices. Dan has a PhD is Chemistry with a focus in Surface Science. He has over 75 patent and patent applications and over 10 peer review articles. His teams have launched over 60 dental product while at Dentsply Sirona.
Nadim Baba, DMD, MSD
Nadim Z. Baba, DMD, MSD, FACP, received his DMD degree from the University of Montreal in 1996. He completed a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies in Prosthodontics and a Masters degree in Restorative Sciences in Prosthodontics from Boston University School of Dentistry in 1999. He serves as a Professor in the Advanced Education program in Prosthodontics at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Dentistry in the Comprehensive Dentistry Department, and maintains a part-time private practice in Glendale, California. He is currently the President of the American College of Prosthodontists and an active member of various professional organizations and a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists and the Academy of Prosthodontics. He is also the Associate Editor for the Aesthetics/Prosthetics/Restorative section at the Journal of Dental Traumatology and a reviewer for the Journal of Prosthodontics and the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry. Dr. Baba has received several honors and awards, including the David J. Baraban Award from Boston University, the Claude R. Baker Faculty award for Excellence in Teaching Predoctoral Fixed prosthodontics in 2009 from the AAFP, and the California dental Association Arthur A. Dugoni Faculty award in 2010. He is the author of numerous publications and has recently published a book entitled, “Restoration of endodontically treated teeth: evidence-based diagnosis and treatment planning,” and has lectured nationally and internationally.
Stephen F. Balshi, MBE
Stephen F. Balshi, MBE, received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Catholic University of America, Washington, DC. He was awarded a Master’s Degree at the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems at Drexel University, with a published thesis on the stability of Brånemark implants and immediate function. Mr. Balshi is the President of CM Prosthetics Inc., a dental laboratory that focuses on the rehabilitation of the fully edentulous, utilizing state-of-the-art CAD/CAM technology. He is also the Director of Research for PI Dental Center at the Institute for Facial Esthetics. He has been published in numerous refereed journals and has lectured at national and international meetings on immediate function, computer guided surgery, and the CM Prosthetics line of fully edentulous restorations.
Larry Bodony, MSEE
Larry Bodony, MSEE, is President of exocad America and has been with exocad since 2011. An MIT and electrical engineering graduate, he began his career in the dental industry as Vice President of Sensable Technologies, where he was actively involved in bringing the world’s first digital solution for the design of partial dentures to the market.
Dave Carballeyra, CDT
Dave Carballeyra, CDT, has brought innovation and expert industry knowledge to the field of digital dentistry. While stationed at the US Air Force Post-Graduate Dental School, he led a medical and dental CAD/CAM laboratory. He is now responsible for integration and the implementation of clinical products for exocad America.
Rune Fisker, PhD, MBA
Rune Fisker, PhD, MBA, is a key creator and driver of 3Shape’s solution-orientated innovations and fills his presentations with concrete CAD/CAM technology methods and his vision of the future digital dentistry. Mr. Fisker has been with 3Shape since its beginnings. Today he is globally responsible for the TRIOS restorative, implantology, and dental laboratory businesses. He holds a PhD from Denmark's Technical University and an executive MBA from Copenhagen Business School.
Brian Goodacre, DDS
Brian J. Goodacre, DDS, graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2013. He completed a four-and-a-half-year combined program in Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry at Loma Linda in 2017, earning an MSD degree. He is currently an assistant professor at the university.

Vincent Hammer, PhD, is a Software Engineering Consultant for exocad America. He has a Masters of Engineering in Computer Science from Cornell University.
Rik Jacobs
Rik Jacobs is a founder and the former CEO of NextDent B.V. The company was founded in 2012 in the Netherlands as an independent subsidiary of Vertex Global Holding to complement the dental materials portfolio of its affiliate Vertex-Dental B.V., which has a 77-year track record in developing and producing traditional denture materials and products. Within 4 years, NextDent became the leading developer and manufacturer of biocompatible dental 3D printing materials. In January 2017, Vertex Global Holding merged with 3D Systems, a company that provides comprehensive additive manufacturing products and services, including 3D printers specifically designed for dental applications, print materials, on-demand parts services, and digital design tools. Upon this merger, Mr. Jacobs became the VP, General Manager of the Dental business. He holds a degree in International Marketing Management from NHL University of Applied Science.
Joshua Jakson
Joshua Jakson is Chief Case Designer for Evolution Dental Science. Bringing a new take on digital technology, he is the head of the CAD/CAM team and all digital processes at Evolution. He is also President of the Evolve product, a CAD solution for dental professionals.
Jerry Kaizer, CDT
The summer of 1976 presented Jerry Kaizer with an opportunity. A recent college graduate, he had spent the beginning part of his summer interviewing for a position teaching high school English. When his father, Murray Kaizer, called to ask him to help in the lab for two weeks he obliged. Now, 41 years later, that 2-week temporary job is still going and he has been nationally recognized for his contributions to the dental technology and removable industry. Mr. Kaizer has served as sole proprietor of Murray Kaizer, Inc., since 2010, however, his favorite moments are still spent at his bench creating smiles. Away from his bench, he is an avid speaker, educator, and panelist on the subject of removable and digital dentures, and recently completed a five-disc training video on these topics for Dentsply Sirona York, Pennsylvania, where he also serves as an Ambassador for their removable and digital denture platforms. Mr. Kaizer cares deeply about the future of the industry and is invited annually to speak at the University of Connecticut Dental School and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine about removable prosthetic procedures.
BJ Kowalski
BJ Kowalski is the President of ROE Dental Laboratory a progressive full-service dental laboratory located outside of Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Kowalski is a graduate of Ohio Northern University and is an active student of dentistry; he attends many hours of CE annually, including membership in numerous study clubs and professional organizations. Mr. Kowalski’s company has been a pioneer in adopting a digital production process, continuously beta testing numerous material and products for a variety of companies. His organization supports multiple dental schools and dentists nationwide. Mr. Kowalski has lectured on all areas of dental technology, esthetics, implant prosthetics, and computer-guided implant surgery.
Rob Laizure Jr.
Rob Laizure Jr. is a Founder and CEO of FullContour Design Center. He was a previous owner and operator of a dental laboratory in Phoenix, Arizona. He has a business degree from Willamette University and has been in the dental industry for more than 12 years.
Sundeep Rawal, DMD
Sundeep Rawal, DMD, graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2006. He completed his training in Prosthodontics at the University of California San Francisco in 2009, where he was exposed to the most current technologies shaping dentistry. He has worked extensively to utilize CAD/CAM technologies within the scope of clinical dentistry and enhance his patients’ restorative treatments. He has lectured extensively across the USA as well as internationally. He is currently in private practice in Florida, and his member affiliations include the American College of Prosthodontics, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantology, and the Florida Prosthodontic Association.
Kris Schermerhorn, CDT
Lecturer and trainer Kris Schermerhorn, CDT, has a degree in dental technology from J. Sergeant Reynolds College and presently owns and manages a full-service dental laboratory in Virginia. He first began working with acetal resins and other thermoplastic dental materials in 1996. He is the co-inventor of the Myerson HotShotElite injection gun, and co-developer of Myerson DuraCetal, DuraFlex, and VisiClear materials, and the Myerson FlexPress digital injection system. He was named inventor of the year in 2007 by the NADL.
Adrienne Slevin
Adrienne Slevin is 3D Systems’ Dental Applications Engineer, as well as former Director of Education and Technology at DAL, Inc., and lead CAD trainer for DT Technologies. A technician in a full-service laboratory for 16 years, she used CAD/CAM technology for 11 years. She is a certified trainer in clinical and laboratory digital equipment and software. She has helped more than 80 laboratories and 30 dental offices become successful using digital equipment. She is a CAD/CAM expert with extensive experience in exocad, 3Shape, Dental Wings, Dentsply Sirona, and CS Restore.
Marc Wagenseil, CDT, DD
Marc Wagenseil, CDT, DD, is a licensed denturist and dental technician with more than 30 years of experience. He is the owner of Heritage Denture Centre and Heritage Dental Lab in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, as well as a professional management consultant in dental prosthetics and treatment. He has spent his career focusing on how dentures integrate in the mouth and body and inspires a unique awareness of occlusion, professional growth, and business success.
Stephen Wagner, DDS
Stephen Wagner, DDS, a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, a Fellow of the Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics and a Fellow of the Academy of Prosthodontics, is currently in his 40th year of private practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He received his dental degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and his prosthodontic training from MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. Dr. Wagner serves on the Review Board of the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants and the Board of Directors of the American College of Prosthodontists, and is Editor of the ACP Board Study Guide. He was awarded the prestigious 2014 Private Practice Award by the American College of Prosthodontists.
Jeremy Wohlers, CDT
Jeremy Wohlers, CDT, has been in the dental industry for more than 20 years. He has worked in both the clinical and laboratory sides. In 2013, he and his wife started a removable laboratory in Yakima, Washington, that focuses on implants and immediate-loading full-arch rehabilitation. Mr. Wohlers has traveled multiple times to Germany to learn and bring new technology back to his laboratory.
Alexander Wünsche, CDT
Alexander Wünsche, CDT, is the President of Zahntechnique Dental Laboratory. He specializes in ceramics and complex CAD/CAM restorations, has been published in several journals, and serves on the Editorial Advisory Board for Inside Dental Technology. He speaks at regional and national meetings regarding innovations in dental technology.
Richard Zimmermann, DDS
Richard Zimmermann, DDS, graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1997 and then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program in the US Navy. In 2006, he became a faculty member at UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry. During his time at UT Health, he has created an Implant Surgical Selective for fourth-year dental students, and integrated digital workflows for both additive and subtractive technology into pre-doctorate and post-doctorate programs.

Valerie McMillan, DDS, MS
Valerie McMillan, DDS, MS, is a private-practice prosthodontist with a passion for dentures. She was called the “Denture Queen” by her prosthodontics co-residents, and the name stuck. Dr. McMillan presents a systematic approach to digital denture treatment that she has been refining since she switched to all-digital denture fabrication in 2015. Dr. McMillan’s practices are located in Dayton, Ohio, her hometown. She owns a practice limited to prosthodontics as well as a general dentistry practice. Since 2013, Dr. McMillan has fabricated free dentures for patients in her community during National Prosthodontics Awareness Week (NPAW).
Andrew Johnston, CDT
Andrew Johnston, CDT, worked as a full-time dental technician from 1996 to 2014 for a dental laboratory in Spokane, Washington. He became a Certified Dental Technician in the Specialty of Complete Dentures in 2008. He has served on the Board of Directors for both the Washington and Oregon State Lab Associations. Mr. Johnston managed the Midwest and Pacific Northwest of Aspen Dental’s Lab Division from 2014 to 2016 and continued work on their in-house training program. He has worked for Kulzer since early 2016 and holds the current position of Senior Technical Field Consultant. He attends and speaks at various events around the World and is involved in the product improvement and training at Kulzer.
Robert Kreyer, CDT
Robert Kreyer, CDT, is a member of the American Prosthodontic Society, and Past Chair of The American College of Prosthodontists Dental Technician Alliance. In 2010, he was the first recipient of The American College of Prosthodontists Dental Technician Leadership Award and was selected by the National Board of Certification in Dental Technology as their 2011 CDT of the Year. At the 86th Annual Meeting of the American Prosthodontic Society, Robert was the 2014 recipient of The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry's Editorial Council's Rudd Award.
