Dr. Dillenberg is Dean Emeritus of A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ASDOH) after serving fifteen years as the Inaugural Dean. After dental school he served as a Dentist in the US Navy then practiced at a residential facility for people with severe disabilities before moving to Jamaica to work in a very rural clinic for their Ministry of Health.
Prior to joining ASDOH, Dr. Dillenberg was Associate Director for public health programs in the California Department of Health Services and prior to that served as an Area Health Officer serving the west area of the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services.
During most of the 1990s, Dr. Dillenberg served in several capacities in the Arizona Department of Health Services, including four years as its Director.
Dr. Dillenberg is the recipient of a great number of honors and awards, including the Arizona Medical Association Humanitarian of the Year, the Fresh Start Foundation Man of the Year, the Harvard School of Public Health Alumni Award of Merit and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry. Most recently, the American Association of Public Health Dentistry 2019 Distinguished Service Award.
He currently is the executive clinical director for the newly created non-profit Pacific Dental Services Special Needs Dental Clinic in Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Dillenberg serves as the Board President of Global Smile, Health a 501c3 nonprofit making a difference in global oral health. He also serves as the Global Ambassador for the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry, and currently is the Board Vice-Chairman for the Brighterway Institute. He was recently elected to the Town Council of Jerome, Arizona and selected as a Public Member of the Arizona State Supreme Court Attorney Discipline Probable Cause Committee.
Dr. Lowenguth is originally from Albany, New York. She graduated magna cum laude from Siena College in Loudonville, New York with a BS in biology. Following college graduation from Siena College, she attended SUNY at Buffalo’s School of Dental Medicine, graduating at the top of her class.
During dental school, she was actively involved in scientific research and was awarded the Oral Biology Fellowship, academic achievement award from the American Association of Women’s Dentists, and was the recipient of the Outstanding Student Award in Periodontics from the American Academy of Periodontology.
After meeting her husband Dr. Mark Lowenguth, a native of Rochester, in dental school, she abandoned her plans to move to the West Coast and came to Rochester to study Periodontics at Eastman Dental Center. Additionally, she received a training grant from NIDR for masters training at the University of Rochester. This grant was awarded to select students throughout the country in order to educate scientists, teachers, and researchers in dentistry.
Dr. Shang is originally from Montreal, Canada and received her dental degree from McGill University. Dr. Shang relocated to Rochester, NY to further pursue studies in Advanced Education in General Dentistry and specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery at the University of Rochester / Eastman Institute for Oral Health. Dr. Shang is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. In addition to providing excellent care to her patients, Dr. Shang also contributes her time to teaching residents at the University of Rochester.
Dr. Kanyon Keeney received his DDS and graduated with honors at the Medical College of Virginia in 1984. While at MCV service he served as President of his Class every year and Student Body President in his senior year. He was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Society and the Pierre Fauchard Academy, as well as received the Theodore Glenn Scholarship, Alpha Omega Scholarship Award, and the ASDA Certificate of Service. He was also awarded a legislative externship in Washington by the ADA in his junior year. Dr. Keeney obtained an early externship in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at The Jackson Memorial Hospital Trauma Center in Miami. Dr. Keeney completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1987 where he served as Chief Resident. As a resident, he coauthored several articles in surgery and was the first resident at the University of Pennsylvania to place dental implants.
Today, Dr. Keeney is a partner in Drs. Niamtu, Alexander, Keeney, Harris, Metzger & Dymon, P.C. He maintains a practice in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with a concentration in implant surgery. He has placed several thousand implants in the past twenty five years and has attended several hundred hours of additional training and updates in the latest technology in dental implants. He is a Diplomate in the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow in the American Association of Oral Surgeons and American Society of Dental Anesthesia and became the first active Board-Certified Oral Surgeon in Virginia to become a Diplomate in the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
Dr. L. Eric Pulver received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto, Canada in 1989. He completed a hospital based general practice residency at Mt Sinai hospital in Toronto in 1990 followed by a fellowship in the osseointegration unit, Department of Prosthetic Dentistry, University of Toronto in 1991. Dr. Pulver graduated with a Diploma in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Northwestern University in Chicago in 1995. He served as an assistant professor at Northwestern University Dental School prior to becoming the Director of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Chicago Hospitals from 1999-2006. He is currently a maxillofacial surgeon at Pulver Oral Surgery and an adjunct instructor at Indiana University Dental school and co-founder of Real World Dentistry, an interdisciplinary treatment planning course taught to the graduating class of IU Dental students for the past 10 years. Dr. Pulver is the Chief Dental Officer of Denti.AI, a cloud based Artificial Intelligence clinical support decision tool providing auto charting, diagnostics, and reduced contact patient efficiencies. He previously served as the team Maxillofacial Surgeon for the Chicago Blackhawks in the National Hockey League from 1999 – 2006. He is the founder and creator of All On Everyday, an online course directed at team development focused upon team education and incorporation of the immediate fixed full arch solution into Everyday Dentistry. He is a member of the American board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentist of Canada and a fellow of the American College of Dentists.
Dr. Pulver’s interests are diverse. He graduated from Second City Comedy Chicago where he completed Improv levels A – F and Stand up in 2016-17. He serves on number of advisor boards involving innovation and technology. He is an avid skier, intermittent faster, futurist and likes to exercise and enjoy family, friends, wine and a little bourbon.
Mrs. Butler has 29 years of diverse experience in the dental industry from chairside and beyond. Tracy is a registered dental hygienist, knowledge broker, and change agent. She believes the key to every successful treatment outcome begins with an accurate assessment leading to a co-diagnosis between the patient and dental team. Tracy’s clinical experience began in a busy comprehensive restorative practice in West Palm Beach, Florida. She attended the Dawson Academy and is a graduate of the Aesthetic Advantage Institute mastery level study. Mrs. Butler spent over 11 years on faculty at Palm Beach State College in the dental hygiene program and research clinic and considers few things more rewarding. Tracy feels blessed to have been mentored and coached by the leading authorities in occlusion, function/relation, complete care dentistry and the business of dentistry. Tracy enjoys boating and deep-sea fishing with her husband Kevin and son Tripp.
Dr. DeFrancesco received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry. Upon graduating, he chose to remain in Massachusetts and joined Dr. Failla in private practice. He is a former member of the Board of Registration in Dentistry in the State of Massachusetts. He is also a member of the Northeast Regional Board of Dental Examiners.
Mr. Brant Herman is the founder and CEO of MouthWatch. His overall responsibilities include product development, industry relations, strategic partnerships, and day-to-day operations. Widely known in the field of teledentistry, Brant is a frequent public speaker and author of articles in leading oral health-related publications explaining the benefits of teledentistry to patients, practitioners, and policy makers. Brant also spearheaded the Teledentistry Innovation Awards to bring attention to innovators and pioneers of teledentistry. Prior to forming MouthWatch, Brant founded a health and wellness company, worked as a dental practice manager and as an operations manager in a medical billing and health insurance claims processing company.
Dr. Scott Drucker attended the University of Pennsylvania for both his Bachelors degree in Biology and Dental Degree. He graduated from dental school in 2013. Dr. Drucker then completed his residency in Periodontics with a Master of Science in Oral Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2016. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Academy of Osseointegration, and is a Diplomate of the Board of Periodontology. In the summer of 2014, he founded Supply Clinic, the online marketplace for dental supplies. Supply Clinic brings together over one hundred dental supply vendors to allow for transparent price comparing. As an entrepreneurial clinician, Dr. Drucker has a unique perspective to improve the dental supply market with dentists in mind. His ultimate goal is to improve the transparency and efficiency of the healthcare supply market, and optimize inventory management and operational workflow in the clinical realm.
After 15 years in Petrochemicals, Aerospace, and Pharmaceutical (C-Level) fields, spent 30 years as President and/or CEO in the dental implant field, building Straumann (US) and Nobel Biocare (NA) into powerful companies. Intimately understands the industry’s competitive landscape and strategic trends.
Provides consulting services to the creme de la creme of international industrial, private equity, investment banking and financing institutions for acquistions, mergers, divestitures, and debt financings. Services include industry analysis and trends, and due diligence of specific targets. Participated on dental school boards at Harvard and Pennsylvania and was the founding chairperson at NovaSoutheastern University.
Dr. Paul Fugazzotto received his DDS from New York University in 1979, and his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Periodontics from Boston University in 1981. He is a visiting lecturer at Tufts University, Harvard University, and the University of Ancona in Ancona, Italy.
Dr. Fugazzotto has over 30 years of experience with bone regeneration (both around teeth, and in preparation for implant placement) and dental implant therapy. He has published extensively on these subjects in scientific journals. Dr. Fugazzotto is the director of the Institute for Comprehensive Implant Therapy & Esthetics, where training courses are taught to dentists from the United States and around the world on the most up to date techniques regarding dental implant placement and bone regeneration.
Dr. Fugazzotto is a fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI). Fellowship in the ITI is by election only. Dr. Fugazzotto is the past national director of the US ITI Study Clubs, Editor-in-Chief of the journal Implant Realities, and Editorial Advisory Board Member for Compendium.
Dr Fugazzotto has also authored three text books, including; “Decision Making in Implant and Regenerative Therapy.” Dr. Fugazzotto lectures extensively, both here and throughout the world, on the topics of periodontal therapy, regrowing lost bone, esthetics, and implant therapy.
Gino DeSimone is a dental industry executive bringing over 25 years of leadership in sales, marketing and education to the dental community. While focused in North America, his influence has been global. From dental schools, to start-ups to some of the largest dental manufacturers and DSOs, Gino has offered creative solutions and delivered above average results. He has accepted multiple volunteer roles on boards, for dental missions as well as charitable groups. His current role as Co-founder and CEO with DMD Consortium is his greatest challenge to date.
Since 2007, Dr. James Roman has used advanced marketing and sales strategies to grow his and his client’s practices. After 11 years in private practice, he sold his successful practice in Atlanta, GA to move out west to Denver, CO and start iVelocity Marketing. As the Founder and CEO of iVelocity, he grew his marketing agency 10X and was listed as the INC 500 list of fastest growing agencies in the country. After exiting his agency last year, he coaches and trains private practices around the country on management and growth strategies.
