Markus B. Blatz, DMD, PhD, Prof Dr med dent

Dr. Markus B. Blatz is Professor of Restorative Dentistry, Chairman of the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences, and Assistant Dean for Digital Innovation and Professional Development at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he also founded the Penn Dental Medicine CAD/CAM Ceramic Center. Dr. Blatz graduated from Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg, Germany, and was awarded additional Doctorate Degrees, a Postgraduate Certificate in Prosthodontics, and a Professorship from the same University.

Dr. Blatz is co-founder and immediate past President of the International Academy for Adhesive Dentistry (IAAD). He is a Board-certified Diplomat in the German Society for Prosthodontics and Biomaterials (DGPro) and a member of multiple other professional organizations, including the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the International College of Prosthodontists, the American College of Prosthodontists (honorary member), Academy of Osseointegration, and O.K.U. Honor Dental Society. He serves on the editorial boards of numerous recognized scientific dental journals and is Associate Editor of Quintessence International and The International Journal of Prosthodontics. He is coauthor of the international bestseller “evolution – contemporary protocols for anterior single-tooth implants”.

Dr. Blatz is the recipient of multiple teaching and research awards and has published and lectured extensively on dental esthetics, restorative materials, and implant dentistry. He was recently named one of the “World’s Top 100 Doctors in Dentistry”.

Robert Margeas, DDS

Dr. Robert Margeas graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1986 and completed his AEGD residency the following year. He is currently an adjunct professor in the department of Operative Dentistry at the University of Iowa. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Operative Dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry, a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Society for Dental Aesthetics and International Team of Oral implantologists (ITI). He has written numerous articles on esthetic and implant dentistry, and lectures and presents hands-on courses nationally and internationally on those subjects. He is currently the Editor in Chief of Inside Dentistry, on the Editorial Board of Compendium, and is a contributing editor to Oral Health in Canada. His memberships include OKU Honor Dental Society, American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Margeas maintains a full-time private practice focusing on comprehensive restorative and implant dentistry in Des Moines, Iowa.

Stephen Chu, DMD, MSD, CDT

Dr. Stephen Chu received his doctoral degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1984 and his master’s degree in restorative dentistry and certificate in post-graduate Fixed Prosthodontics from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1986. He subsequently obtained his dental technician certification in dental ceramics in 1996 and ASMDT status in 1998 at New York University College of Dentistry. He is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Implant Dentistry, Director of the Advanced CDE Program in Aesthetic Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry, Associate Professor and Director of Esthetic Education at Columbia University, Prosthodontic Section Editor for PPAD, and Executive Editor for Compendium. Dr. Chu maintains a private practice with Dr. Dennis Tarnow in New York City in aesthetic, restorative, and implant dentistry.

Dr. Robert Ritter attended the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine and received his dental degree in 1994. He served as program leader of PowerPAC for the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum, a live patient program for porcelain veneers. Dr. Ritter has been speaking nationally and internationally for over 18 years on Technology/Social Media for the modern dental office as well as techniques in modern esthetic restorative dentistry. He is a member of the AAED, the AARD, the AACD, the ADA, past president of the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, a graduate of the Kois Center, and a Seattle Study Club National Speaker. He maintains a private practice with Dr. Christopher Ramsey in Jupiter, Florida.
